Thanks once again for the help!

Problem: too much of a stiped volume was reserved for root (default is 10%)
and I couldn't figure out how to reclaim some of it. dxlsm doesn't have a way
(that I could find in the fine manauls) and newfs -m wouldn't work...

Solution: after unmounting the logical volume, tunefs -m VALUE /dev/...

I used VALUE=2 and all is COOL!!!

Thanks to Lucien Hercaud for the clear instructions and to the following that
offered good suggestions:

Anthony Jackson
Alan de DEC (thanks for helping _again_)
Michael Mathews
Hellebo Knut
Pierre Wendling
Charlie Joyner

Thanks again
Rich McClellan
