My previous summary was not clear about the MOP question. Here are some
additional informations.
I installed MOP from the Layered Products CD. It is part of DECNet-OSI,
but I did not install all the DECNet sbusets. I had some already
installed as part of X.25. To run MOP we only need the following subsets:
- DNADLI300 (Datalink Components)
- DNANETMAN300 (Network Management)
- DNAMOP300 (MOP Utilities)
The MOP configuration created a circuit called "circuit-1".
I started to manage the server with ccr:
# addnode -h 08-00-2b-3f-c7-13 TS00 <- ethernet address of DECserver
# ccr -n TS00 -c circuit-1
-> show server
DECserver 90L+ V2.0 BL5.2 Address: 08-00-2B-3F-C7-13
Protocol: LAT V5.2 Name: DEC_SERVER_00
