Hi,

We have a Z26N disk that suddenly developed a number of bad sectors.
Rebuilding the file system did not help. Does anyone know if there
is a way I can make the SCSI controller reformat the disk as a
last attempt at fixing things before calling the field service
people.

Our system is a DEC 3000/300 running OSF1/V4.0.

thanks,

tbr
