I need a good comparison between Windows NT and DEC Unix 4.0.
We currently run DEC Unix 4.0 here but are looking at Windows NT on a
second server. Unfortunately, DEC doesn't seem inclined to publish a tough
comparison between two products that they market.
Initially I wanted to try Windows NT but the apps and development tools
weren't readily available. Moreover, the memory requirements were higher
and performance levels lower for NT.
This is not an invite to a flame war. I really do need this info.
"War Stories" also welcome.
I will be happy to post a summary.
