hello.
I have a TZ877 loader and a TZ87 tape drive. Just found out
from a person on this list that I can use it as a jukebox
instead of a sequential loader as it is now.
When i tried jb_config, it asks for the control port. under
solaris nsr server from legato, i can run a sort of autodetect
program and it'd tell me the port.
what's the equivalence on a DEC system?
The TZ877 is set to SCSI ID 5. and is hooked to controller
#2, i think. I mastered DEC devices once but since had
forgotten all about it. To be precise, the loader/drive that
has SCSI ID 5 is on a controller such that /dev/nrmt1h
is the correct entry for the drive.
Please give me some hint on how to specify the control port
say, something equivalence to the following entry obtained
via the "inquire" program on a solaris box.
scsidev_at_0.2.0:EXABYTE EXB-10i 3.1 |Autochanger (Jukebox)
Thanks.
Chan
