Firmware - take "minimum" literally?

Hi -

I plan to upgrade a DEC 3000-300LX from OSF/1 v2.1 to Digital UNIX
v3.2c (or 3.2g or something ;-). Anyway, looking at the latest
firmware CD I have, the notes talk about "minimum" firmware
revisions for each OS revision. So can I take that literally and just
do one firmware upgrade, then all the OS upgrades (I plan to do
update installations), or must I take it incrementally with the
firmware revisions too?

Richard
