Hello Managers,
I have been getting an increasing number of errors when running vrestore
of the form below:
---------------------------------------------
RECORD HEADER (unknown/unexpected)
record type : 14
data offset : 0
record size : 312
flags : <none>
----------------------------------------------
Suspecting that my fileset had become corrupted, I piped vdump to vrestore
to create a copy of the fileset on another disk. The replicated fileset
generates the same vrestore errors after a vdump to tape. Running verify
on either the original or the copy has no effect. I'm running DU 4.0
on an Alphaserver 1000. Any ideas would be very welcome.
Thanks
Don
