remote printing primer...

A question of general principle...this is for a SCO system anyway, so let's not
worry about DEC commands. I don't believe it can be done, but the powers that
be never considered it. Can a remote user, telnetting with a SLIP or PPP
connection from a 3rd-party ISP, print to an Ethernet printer at their end? I
don't see a problem with setting up a printer attached to their terminal, but I
just can't picture any way to set up a non-attached printer unless the users
have a TCP/IP or serial (Racal) connection.

Can someone prove me wrong? Thanx..
