I did a search on the archive and found a couple of articles related to
mounting jaz disks on an Alpha but none were very clear. I have done
the following so far:
1) add the following entry to my /etc/disktab file:
jaz-single|JAZ|IOMEGA Jaz 1GB drive:\
:ty=winchester:dt=SCSI:ns#3217:nt#1:nc#650:\
:oa#0:pa#2091050:ba#8192:fa#1024: \
:oc#0:pc#2091050:bc#8192:fc#1024:
2)executed 'scu /dev/rrz2c' and then formatted the disk from inside scu
3)used the scu verify with no problems
All of the above steps were successfull. The problem seems to be
'disklabel' I have had no success in labeling the disk. Any help out
there?
