Hi Everyone,

I think I am having a routing problem.....
Here is the scenario....

When I try to telnet into my machine it take nearly 1.5 minutes before I
get a prompt... After I get the prompt, everything works great, but don't
understand why it take so long....Physicall and logically the machine I am
telneting from is only 1 or 2 hops away from the machine I am having problems
with....

It is a DEC 3000 OSF1

When I do a netstat -rn this is what I get...

>netstat -rn
Routing tables
Destination Gateway Flags Refs Use Interface
Netmasks:
Inet 255.255.0.0
Inet 255.255.254.0
Inet 255.255.255.0

Route Tree for Protocol Family 2:
default 165.112.104.2 UG 0 30 ln1
1 1.0.0.201 U 8 2851 ln0
127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 UH 1 0 lo0
128.231 1.0.0.200 UG 1 1235 ln0
137.187 165.112.104.3 UG 1 4262 ln1
156.40 165.112.104.3 UG 0 0 ln1
165.112.104 165.112.105.111 U 3 78 ln1

Now, I believe ln0 is a serial interface between this machine and an other
machine......

Any ideas,

Chris
