HPIIIP with PostScript Cartridge

Hi all:
We have an HPIIIP printer with postscript cartridge that we'd like to
connect to an Alphastation 400 via the parallel port. Has anyone done
this or something similar in the past? All the docs seem to talk only
about serial printers, and in particular I can't seem to locate the
device name of the parallel port. Any help would be much appreciated,
and I'll summarize for the list.
