I went back and did the baseline analysis/adjustment and then installed the
jumbo patch. Something happened to my /etc/sysconfigtab file. It grew to
56k bytes and the system complained while booting that this file was too
big. I think I am having the problem that "some" are supposed to be having
with DU4.0B and jumbo. I decided to back out the install of the first
jumbo after I saw that the date changed on the 4.0B jumbo at
ftp.service.digital.com. I am now installing that jumbo patch. I hope
things will turn out better. I wish I had a CD here for 4.0B or 4.0C. I
really would like to reinstall from scratch instead of continuing to play
with the FIS and the backup I made before I started any of this. Such is
life I guess.
