Ethernet question: Update

Thanks to those who replied to my initial question. The answer was to
MAKEDEV pfilt, which I did.

However, when I run 'etherman -I tu0' it says:

tu0: No such device or address.

The interface is up and active, and it's set to PROMISC. What am I
missing here?
