How serious are RAID SWXCR Disk Soft Errors?

Hello, all!

How serious are hard disk soft errors on a 3 channel RAID SWXCR array?

We've been loading Sybase database data into an Alpha 2100 with RAID 5
drives on a PCI SWXCR controller card. During a nightly database check that
hits the RAID drives probably heavily, I'm seeing several soft errors coming
from one of the drives. I'll include the errors below. I ran a parity check
which came out fine on all the drives. I'd like to get things fixed before
the server goes into production soon!

     We're running an Alpha 2100 4/275 with DU 4.0 and 512MB of memory. We're
using 4GB RZ29B disks. The particular drive having problems has 67 soft errors
as of now...

Do the soft errors indicate an impending problem with that drive? Should
it be replaced soon? What have you out there seen with soft errors on RAID
drives? Should I be worrying even more? <grin>

     Thanx in Advance!
