I have an ALPHAStation 255/233 running DU4.0 and am trying to get an
HP DeskJet 870Cxi color printer working. I'm able to print text files
perfectly well with a straight lpr. I'm using gs4.03 to convert
postscript to pcl using the hp850 driver which is reportedly
compatible with the 870.
My problem is that graphics pages, color or not, stall during the
printing process. The resume light begins flashing and when I press
it to continue the sheet is fed through without finishing the print.
Has anyone encountered this type of problem?
