snmptrap on DEC UNIX v4.0B

     Hi folks,

I've managed to compile both SNMP v1 & v3 source code on DU v4.0B but
snmptrap was a problem due to it being a 64bit system. I changed the
definition of pdu->trap_type & specific_type to long from int in the
source code and it now works, sending traps out to my FlightDeck
     server.

Unfortunately, it reads them all as of generic trap_type '0'
     (Cold-Start) rather than '6' (Specified).

Anyone out there had more luck than me and got an snmptrap exec that
actually does the whole business ?

I'm getting tired of beating my head against a wall trying to sort out
the change from the 'int' to the 'long'!

     Thanks in advance,

     James
