Hello Managers,

I have two AS 2100 4/233 running DU 3.2b and DU 3.2g. I am running Networker
3.2A on both machines. Theses tapes are rated to hold 40 GB of compressed
information. I am getting 90 to 130 GB on a single tape. I thought this
looked suspicious. I then tried to recover files from a tape that held 90 GB
and I was not successful. The message I received was 'unable to recover file
xxx at record yyy'.

Any hints or suggestions as to what is going on with the large amounts of
data on a single tape ?

I tried the DEC hot line and they suggested to upgrade networker to 4.2A and
purchase a jukebox license.

Thanks,
