Problem with vrestore command

Hello,

I used vdump and vrestore commands to a tape device on an Alpha2100 with
Unix 3.2c. The Tape drive is QIC ( TZK11) 535 MB tapedrive. I am getting
following errors while using vrestore:

Issued the following command to do a dump
/sbin/vdump -0uf /dev/nrmt0a /home

Issued the following to restore.
/sbin/vrestore -i /dev/nrmt0a
vrestore: Date of the vdump save-set: Thu Jan 30 16:57:02 1997
vrestore: unable to read from device '/dev/rmt0a'; incomplete read 512 <
61440
Memory fault(coredump)

I tried with different tapes, but the same error. Should I have to use
any qualifiers like block size etc. vdump/vrestore is being successfully
used by me on DLT and DAT tapes. Any Ideas?.

Thanks For your help.
Raja
