Subject: Digital Unix V4.0A "uerf" does not recognize my system type.

My thanks to the following folks for responding to my question. The final
solution was provided by Rich Freiss from Digital Equipment, thanks Rich.
Rich's solution was also echoed by others that responded.

Bruce,

uerf does not support for the AlphaServer 2100a family. uerf
support has been transferred to DecEvent, therefore any new products
are not recognized by uerf. This is why you only get the hex dump and
this message.

All error bit to text is now done via DecEvent. The phase over
started with the 2100 family. This was the last platform that had uerf
and DecEvent support. All others are now only supported with DecEvent.

I have an (2-CPU) Alphaserver 2100/RM. When I execute "uerf" the returned
system type bits-text translates to "Systype 24. Not announced yet". Has
anyone else seen this?
