wuftp on V4.0b and C2 sec?

Can't seem to get wuftp to cooperate on a new box of mine running V4.0b.
I have enhanced security turned on. all the config files are setup
correctly but everytime I try to connect, it gives me an invalid login
message after my password. Is there I hitch to running wuftp with C2
turned on?
