SUMMARY: changing primary DNS server

Thanks to all for the quick responses.

Since this is a DNS client, the procedure is very simple.

Modify /etc/resolv.conf to point to the new DNS server.
The man page on resolv.conf is OK as well.

I received over 40 replies in the space of two hours.
