Hi,
I have an AdvFS file domain as root (root_domain) with a fileset
(root) mounted as /. In order to have a root fileset greater than
my current "root" I have created another "a" partition in another
disk with a greater size after I created another root domain called
RootDomain and within it a fileset called root, so I have tranferred
all from the current root to my new root with vdump(8) mounting it in
/newroot. I look with df(1) the size of /newroot fileset and it's OK.
After of to edit my /etc/fstab and get changed the line for mounting
of the root fileset I reboot the machine but I get my new domain with
fileset with the size of the old root fileset.. why? I suspect that
information of AdvFS was tranferred to the new root fileset and then
when it boots reads wrong information about AdvFS filesets. Another
rare thing is that when I have mounted RootDomain#root as / I cannot
to mount root_domain#root in any other place, it respond me as it's
busy so I guess that my procedure only change the name of the the root
fileset and domain in spite of the fact that df(1) show me RootDomain#root
and /etc/fdmns show RootDomain -> rz18a while root_domain -> rz8a so
at least phisycally are no the same but seems to share the same AdvFS
information..
Any help will be appreciated,
Thanks!
