        Hello

I encounter a problem on a PWS 433 au.

It panics while booting.

The error messages depend on the PAL revision code but here they are
(i think they are the relevant ones) :

Firmware revision: 6.8.20
Palcode: Digital Unix: 1.22

        ...
Module 1080:c693 not in pci option table, can't configure it
Module 1080:c693 not in pci option table, can't configure it
        ...
        panic(cpu0) : pyxis_intrdsabl: int out of range
        ...

Firmware revision: 6.6.29
Palcode: Digital Unix: 1.21

        ...
Module 1080:c693 not in pci option table, can't configure it
Module 1080:c693 not in pci option table, can't configure it
        ...
trap: invalid memory read access from kernel mode

                faulting virtual address : 0x...
                pc of faulting address: 0x...
ra contents at time of fault: 0x...
sp contents at time of fault: 0x...

panic (cpu0) : kernel memory fault
        ....

What is strange is that the panic happens even when booting on the
DU 4.0C installation CD.

The PWS 433 uses a DEC vt220 as a console. No graphical display.
The video card for the display is still plugged in the PWS.

So does that mean that some hardware is broken in the PWS ?

By the way, how does "memtest" work ? I launched the command 2 hours ago
(with no args) and it's still not finished yet.

Thanks in advance.
