Disk advice

Dear sir,

I have an entire book on an old Apple II Appleworks file, only
accessible through a 5-1/4 inch drive. I am unsure how to extract the
information and make it accessible to a 3-1/2 inch. I cannot find a
hook-up cord that will connect this computer to another with updated
capabilities, etc. Any suggestions?
