Hello managers...
I am having a problem with my root crontab ... whenever I do a "crontab -e" command (as root) I get the following message: "crontab: cannot create your crontab file in the crontab directory."... Does anybody know what does it means?
The /var/spool/cron/crontabs is Ok (drwxr-xr-x 2 root system 8192 Nov 24 16:04 .) and the root crontab is Ok too (-r-------- 1 root system 1546 Nov 24 16:26 root). I tried changing the protection to -rw------- but it still doesn't work...
I have other five machines where the cron directory and crontabs are with the same protection, and I don't have this kind of problem ... I don't think this is a protection problem ... Could anybody help me?
Thanks in advance ...
