Using Digital NSR to backup non-digital hosts

I have an AS2100 with a DLT drive, NSR and a NSR server license installed.
I've also got a number of Sun's I'd like to backup using NSR. I've been
given the go-ahead to buy extra client licenses, but do I buy DEC
NSR clients for SunOS/Solaris or do I get the SunSoft/Legato version?

Any comments/preferences/experiences?
