Hi,
I have a DEClaser 5100 hanging off of my AlphaServer 4100. Having just
recently arrived at the site (this is my third week) and being relatively
new to DEC and DU (I come from a Sun and Linux background), I have
inventoried the available documentation.
One thing I noticed was that there was nothing substantial on this printer.
I know that this model has a very strange NIC card in it that has to be
connected to the network in order for it to get its address (as opposed to
being able to input it from the front panel like some other brands of
printers).
DEC has quite a bit of documentation on the Net, but in all of my searches
(I have used all of the major search engines), I have been unable to find
anything on the 5100. Would someone out there have a pointer to a source of
information?
