sendmail configuration

hi,
i have a machine dec 2100 running digital unix 4.0b
i have download sendmail v8.8.8 and successfully compiling it on my
machine

can any body help me with configuring my new send mail to restrict the
i/p's who can use it as an outgoing mail server...
