Sheila said to upgraded the CAM software - I had already done that (4.0D
requires CLC 3.1C - anything previous and your system will panic when
you access).

Jim said to make sure the tapes were problem in the cartridge (they were
- these tapes were already used in it) and re-jbconfig.

Robert mentioned a tape drive firmware upgrade, but this drive didn't
need it.

As it turns out, redoing the jbconfig _will_ work - _if_ I had known
that the upgrade to 4.0D swapped the device names around. I had a TLZ06
in the system originally as tz5/rmt0h, and added the TLZ9L afterwards as
tz4/rmt1h. Well, during the upgrade it remade all the device files,
giving rmt0h to tz4, the TLZ9L, and rmt1h to tz5, the TLZ06. So,
although I had everything else correct, it was accessing the wrong
drive...

Original message below...

OK, I just upgraded to 4.0D, and updated the CLC driver to 3.1C. I had
NSR 4.3 installed, and have since upgraded to 4.4, still with the same
problem.

When NSR starts up, it fails to mount the tape, complaining about "read
open" errors, and forever trying to verify the label. Any tape
operations I try to perform complain that the tape drive is busy. Even
nsrjb returns with:

nsrjb: Jukebox error, All drives are busy, disabled, or do not allow
media from this pool.

Is my whole thing hosed? I can't even label new tapes...
