Hello friends,
My problem is that i want to print to a remote printer from my
AlphaServer. The remote printer is IBM Network printer 12, normally when
i try to print the job, it isnot submitted to the queue.
IBM provides the drivers for AIX, NT, OS/2 and SUN. I have installed it
in a Sun machine and it works fine.
Below are the lines in the printcap file in the Sun machine:
ibs|LA-210 Digital Letterprinter:\
:lp=:rm=ibsbck:sd=/var/spool/lpd:br#9600:fs#06320:\
:rp=PASS:mx#0:lf=/usr/adm/lpd-errs:
I have tried to define the same in my Alpha's machines but it doesn't
work.
The results sometimes is the common problem of LineFeed instead of
CR/LF.
