The specific problem I have at the moment, is that the analysis option of
decevent seems unreliable.
To Analyze the Error Log File:
# dia ana -v -t s:01jul-1998 > xxxx.wri
Where:-
-v Verbose.
This potentially most useful feature, unfortunately doesn't seem to work
properly. It is supposed to display a licence info banner and then a report,
which may show what unit should be replaced, or if it doesn't come up with
anything, a "no conclusion" report.
When tested, it often came up with just the banner and no report at all. If
it did report and was run again on the same piece of error log, it would
produce a different report.
Maybe someone can help.
