Lost Printer Header

We have just moved a Lexmark Optra S1650 from a tty00 conections to a TCP/IP
network connection. The printcap entry is:

Everything works fine with one exception. The interjob burst header no
longer appears. When connected on the serial port the header returns.

Any ideas Gurus?
