Hi,
I have installed Apache v1.3.4 with the mod_fastcgi v2.0.18
and using the fastcgi library v1.5.2 on a DU v4.0D server.
I have configured two of the supplied sample programs as
fastcgi application servers in Apache and when I start Apache
the app servers keeps exiting with return code 14.
/usr/include/errno.h says that return code 14 is
#define EFAULT 14 /* Bad address */
I'm at a lost since everything compiled fine and everything indicates
that Apache is properly starting the fastcgi app servers but they
keep exiting. The source code of those apps could not have
exited with error 14. Everything points at the fastcgi library,
some sort of problem in the communication between the
mod_fastcgi module and the fastcgi library in the programs.
My question is, does anybody use Apache and the Fastcgi module
on DU, if so are there any gotchas, patches, missing docs,
something missing, etc...?
I would appreciate any help you can give me. We are developping
a Web interface to our large (Ingres) database in 'C'.
