Greetings all:
I have the following machine which is giving me trouble:
AlphaServer 1000 4/233
DU 4.0D unpatched
FDDI interface on fta0
10BaseT connection on tu0
running gated
This machine is routing between the FDDI and ethernet.
I have the following problem and I am wondering if this is covered under the
patches included in patch kit 3 or not, and if anyone has seen this
before....
ping -s 1500 from the server to a station on the ethernet
side works fine
ping from either direction works fine
ping -s 1500 from a station on or behind the FDDI to the
ethernet fails 95%+
It appears to be a packet fragmentation issue, but this is very strange.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
