Reading a BSD UFS dump tape on Digital Unix

A colleague of mine has some old 8mm tapes with data on them that were
created via the dump command on a BSD Unix system. We're having trouble
reading those tapes on a Digital Unix 4.0b system. An error complaining
about incorrect block sizes is all we have managed to get in our attempts
at reading one of the tapes. If anyone knows how to read these tapes with
Digital Unix, please let me know.
