FTP from Dec Alpha to NT Server

I need to ftp between my alpha box to a win/nt server (not an ftp server)
however it's on the same network and I can ping it ok from the DEC
box. I can obtain admin authority if needed on the NT box.

 I need to automate some file transfers downloading and uploading to this NT
 box and am clueless where to look for a solution.
