This is a much belated summary of the responses I got to my inquiry a week
or two ago.
Qualstar make tape libraries/juke-box for a range of tapes etc
http://www.qualstar.com/
also spectralogic
http://www.spectralogic.com/welcome.htm
and overland
http://www.ovrland.com
And a review of AIT against similar libraries:
http://www.performancecomputing.com/reviews/hardware/9901.shtml
I received quotes for Qualstar and Spectralogic and ADIC 10-12 tape, 1
drive libraries. All seemed competative in price and features. Since I'll
be using it with the built-in dump utility rather than library software,
I'll probably pick one based on price.
