SUMMARY: How to Delete Patch Backups?

In an earlier message, I asked how I could delete the patch backups in
/usr/var/adm/patch/backup in an "approved" manner. The answer seems to be,
"Make several verified backup copies, then 'rm
/usr/var/adm/patch/backup/*.'" Considering that the mailing list archives
at http://www.ornl.gov/its/archives/mailing-lists/ contain several instances
of software installations that backed out patches and refused to install if
this couldn't be done :-(, keeping a backup around until a full upgrade
might not be a bad idea.

Thanks to Michael Bucholtz [mbucholtz_at_ceiss.org], Alan Davis
[Davis_at_Tessco.Com], and Bruce B. Platt [bbp_at_comport.com] for the advice.
