Quick xterm -e question

Hello,
One of my developers wants to run a script to start multiple programs in
different X windows, with the title and icon name the same as the program. I
told him to use "xterm -e <command>" which works, but the window closes as
soon as the <command> exits. He would like the window to stay open, so he
can see any errors. Is this possible. I can't see any options to keep the
window open. Thanks, as always I'll sumarize.

UNIX is very user friendly, It's just very particular about who it makes
friends with.
