Good morning managers,
I am currently running a a network management
station on an Alphaserver 400 with 4.0D, having recently upgraded from 3.2d
for y2k. It has been suggested to me that 4.0D cannot be supported on our
service contract with Compaq, but that 4.0F can and we should upgrade.

Firstly, does anyone know if that is true? SUrely 4.0D is supported? If not,
is 4.0F as stable as 4.0D ECO 4 which is what I currently have? The
Alphaserver only has 160Mb memory and it's already a bit tight, are later
versions of the OS more memory hungry?

What about 5.0, which is also out now?

Any opinions/advice gratefully received.

Best Regards,

David
