SUMMARY: SWXCRMGR -> disk 4 FLD

My question:

  My system is a AS4100 with DU4.0D.
The utility swxcrmgr say that disk 4 of an array of 6 disks in RAID 5
is in failed (FLD) state. If I turn this disk OPT with this program
then when I try to mount that AdvFS fileset I get an I/O error and the
AdvFS fileset can not be mounted, so my question is, what do I need to
do in order to get this disk working? Another further question is
why the output of "df" command still say that the capacity of that
fileset is the same before this problem if there is a disk (of 4 GB)
that is not being used (in FLD state I guess is not used the disk)??!

The answer from Blake Roberts <BlaRob_at_HBSI.COM>:

This drive is a bad drive. RAID 5 is doing its thing and keeping you up
and running in a degraded state. What you need to do is get the bad
drive replaced, restore your configuration within SWXCRMGR, and then
you'll be back to an optimal state with all 6 of your drives.

Best regards,
