Errors on disks; how to clear them?

If I do a 'file' command on my devices, I get the following:

# file /dev/rrz*c
/dev/rrz10c: character special (8/18434) SCSI #1 RZ29B disk #80 (SCSI ID
#2) (SCSI LUN #0)
/dev/rrz11c: character special (8/19458) SCSI #1 RZ29B disk #88 (SCSI ID
#3) (SCSI LUN #0)
/dev/rrz12c: character special (8/20482) SCSI #1 RZ29B disk #96 (SCSI ID
#4) (SCSI LUN #0)
/dev/rrz16c: character special (8/32770) SCSI #2 HSZ70 disk #128 (SCSI
ID #0) (SCSI LUN #0) errors = 0/69 offline
/dev/rrz17c: character special (8/33794) SCSI #2 HSZ70 disk #136 (SCSI ID
#1) (SCSI LUN #0)

Is there any way, short of doing a reboot of the system, to remove the errors
that are appearing on the
rz16c device? Where is this error count stored? I'm guessing somewhere in
the kernel, which is why only
a reboot will fix it, but does anyone know for sure?

My main interest in this is that we had a bad disk in that disk set on our
HSZ70 but we've replaced it.
It works fine on the other nodes in the cluster, but since this node hasn't be
en rebooted it would
appear that either LSM or ASE won't allow the disk to be mounted here. If I
can get this to work without
rebooting it would make life easier.

Thanks in advance.
