Dear Managers,

Intro
I have an Alpha 633 with 256MB of RAM running DU 4.0D. This SCSI
interface is an IntraServer (ITI-414UE). It has a total of 7 seven disks
conected to the same interface, one internal and six are external.

Problem
After months of working reliable the host doesn't want to boot
with all seven devices. If I disconnect the external disks the system
boots without a problem. Is the problem hardware? I don't understand the
 following errors.

Errors at boot time
 SRM V5.1-4
 Alpha 21164A-2
 ...
 (boot dka0.0.0.2000.0 -flags A)
 ...
illegal Request Sense error code (c0) from dka0.0.0.2000.0
 ...
 cb_open: failed SCSI 0 2000 0 0 0 0 0, dka0.0.0.2000.0
 devopen(SCSI 0 2000 0 0 0 0 0) failed: can't open channel to boot driver
 ...
sense key = 'Unit Attention (29|02) from dka0.0.0.2000.0
 ...
 failed to open dka0.0.0.2000.0
