Problems creating AdvFSdomain

I have another question for the list. I am attempting to create a AdvFS
domain on a disk I just created on my HSZ70. The disk is one large
stripeset approx. 56 gig in size. I created a device and was able to write
a disklabel to the device. The disklabel looks fine and the size is
correct. When I attempt to do a mkfdmn I get the following error:

# mkfdmn /dev/rzf26c test_domain
/dev/rrzf26c is an invalid device or cannot be opened.
The disklabel for /dev/rrzf26c cannot be updated.
Quitting ...
mkfdmn: can't create new domain 'test_domain'

Here is what my disklabel looks like:

# /dev/rrzf26a:
type: SCSI
disk: HSZ70
label:

bytes/sector: 512
sectors/track: 113

Thanks in advance
