Regards managers,
I didn't get too much response in my previous mail about the subject so
here I go again:
1. How can I in a easy way see which filesystems are loopback mounted
and which are mounted via regular nfs ? If I do the 'mount' command I
only see the regular 'system:filesystem type nfs (v3, rw, udp, hard,
intr)' stuff on a filesystem I know should be loopback mounted (v4.0E,
pk1). On e.g IRIX and Solaris i get 'lofs' (acronym for LOopback File
System of course) when doing the 'mount' command on loopback mounted
filesystems. I know that from 4.0E and onwards loopback mounting is part
of the kernel but I do not know how to distinguish between regular nfs
mounts and loopback mounts.
2. Are there any plans to support autofs so that TRU64 users don't have
to mess with the /tmp_mnt semantics any longer ? (available in Solaris,
HPUX, AIX 4.3, IRIX). I did not find anything about this in the Release
Notes for Tru64 v5.
