Here is my original question:

This is probably an easy one.
I'm running a Tru64 Unix system v4.0D with patch level 3 applied. Since
switching to enhanced security I no longer have the ability to use XDMCP
to log in remotely via X. When I try it I get the following error:
Cannot obtain database information on this terminal
The file Xaccess allows for access from my terminal and it did work fine
before activating enhanced security. Obviously I need to update some other
file to get this to work.

The answer to my question is in Compaq's FAQ at
http://www.unix.digital.com/unix/faq/
However, the answer there was not as complete as some of the answers I
got from this list.
Under enhanced security I need to modify the file /etc/auth/system/ttys
to create an entry for my X terminal. For example:
host\:0:t_devname=host\:0:t_xdisplay:t_login_timeout#0:chkent:
The FAQ also suggests modifying /etc/auth/system/devassign accordingly.
After this is done, I need to run convauth to rebuild the binary databases
associated with the text files (the text files are not actually consulted
by the system).
/usr/tcb/bin/convauth -d tv
The FAQ also suggests modifying /etc/securettys. My reading of the manual
page indicates that securettys is only used in "traditional" security
mode. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to modify it anyway so that things still
work fine when (and if) enhanced security is turned off.
Thanks for the input! These changes fixed my problem.
