Followup: Summary: Loopback mounting (again)

It seems that Tru64 loopback mounting is not the Solaris or IRIX way of
doing this. The reason it is not possible to differentiate is that Tru64
loopbackmounting is regular nfs mounting to localhost and not via the
loopback interface. Also, Solaris and IRIX have their own drivers when
it comes to loopbackmounting so they will display 'lofs' when doing the
'mount' command to display loopbackmounted filesystems. Please correct
me if I'm wrong.

About autofs: supposed to be part of one of the forthcoming OS releases
after 5.0A (thanks to Spider Boardman
