Dear Managers,

I have a Alpha Server 4100 (Tru64 UNIX 4.0F, Patch Kit #3) with 2 boot disks (rz8 and rz16) mirrored by LSM, and i have data corruption on / and /usr file systems generated my a system crash

I need to boot with the UNIX OS CD-ROM, activate LSM, mount the OS file systems, and then restore the good data from a tape backup.

The problem is that i can't activate LSM booting with the UNIX OS CD-ROM. I cannot copy the /etc/vol/volboot file to the file systems available when i boot with CD-ROM

How can i activate LSM booting with CD-ROM ?

Thanks in Advance
