Hi everyone,

I have a DPW433au running Tru64 4.0e that is the web and email server.
Recently, its been slow during simple command line actions, like running
ls during a telnet.

In the kern.log, it keeps saying "vmunix: /: file system full"
However, a df -k shows / has 113Mb of available space and /usr has 798MB
free.

When I do a vmstat, my summary shows 1M of page faults, 394K of page
ins, 7727 of page outs, 2 usr processes, 3 system processes, and a cpu
idle time of 95%.

A vmstat 5 5 shows page faults of 135, 290, 84, and 94 with no page
outs, just page ins of 10, 96, 0, and 5 respectively.

Swap space has 85% free.

Is any of this related?
Page faults look high compared to other machines.
Where is the file system full error coming from?

Thanks for any replies,
Dan
