I'd like to thank everyone for the help, especially Irene Shilikhin and
Olle Eriksson. My problem was traced on the zone file itself. I issued a
'dig my_domain axfr any' as suggested and I wasn't able to see any
records. I recreated the zone file with the same entry, incremented the
serial number and restarted named, then I was able to see all the changes

Hi!
We've been having DNS problems these past few days and the logs pointed to
an error on the Serial No. We used the format yyyymmddnn. I did the
bindsetup again but unfotunately I loaded the default hosts.db and
hosts.rev files. I tried to do the necessary changes but until now I
cannot still see the changes on other dns servers. I already upgraded to
BIND version 8.2.2 (previously 4.2.3) but it didn't change anything.
Does anybody know how to resolve the problem? Thanks.
